Along with the Gradec trail, the Trška Gora trail is the most challenging one as well as the longest one of the Nordic trails described above. It leads up to one of the most renowned vineyard hills in Dolenjska, where Cviček is produced. On the top of Trška Gora, you will find the pilgrimage church of Our Lady of the Nativity and a wonderful view across the Krka valley extending all the way to the Gorjanci hills. From the church, which draws its distinct character from the hundred-year-old linden trees surrounding it, the trail descends steeply among the vineyards.
